Pilar de la Horadada is the southernmost town in Alicante province, right on the Murcia border, and it's quieter and noticeably cheaper than Torrevieja or Orihuela Costa just up the coast while still having its own beaches at Mil Palmeras and Torre de la Horadada. I show it to buyers who've already looked at Torrevieja and want the same climate and coastline for less — the trade-off is a smaller town centre and less nightlife, which for a lot of my clients is exactly the point.
