Templo
Selected, aged meats in central Alicante.
About Templo
Templo specializes in selected, aged meats, with more than eight years in business in central Alicante. Our approach starts from a simple idea: treat every cut with respect, knowledge, and judgment, balancing breed, marbling, aging time, and how the meat responds to fire.
Our menu brings together different cuts, breeds, and aging periods, personally selected by our team. We're not aiming to offer only the most exclusive meats or the longest aging times — we're aiming to help each guest find the cut that fits their taste and the experience they're after.
The menu is rounded out with house-made preparations, carefully chosen sides, and a wine selection built to pair with each type of meat. Our floor staff guide guests naturally, walking through the options without unnecessary jargon.
Templo offers an elegant, warm, relaxed setting for unhurried dining — whether for a special occasion or a first introduction to aged meats.
What makes Templo special isn't just the product. It's how we select it, interpret it, and share it with the people who visit us.

The founder

Ángel García
After years of experience in the demanding food export industry, our founder, Ángel García, traveled the world absorbing the best of gastronomic culture from places like the United States, Australia, and Europe. It was in 2018 that he decided to channel that passion and knowledge into his own project, opening the doors of Templo.
Templo was born with a clear mission: to be a sanctuary for lovers of high-quality meat in Alicante. We're not just a restaurant — we're the result of a dream that seeks to elevate every cut into a work of art, offering a unique and unforgettable culinary experience.
On the menu
A short, changing selection built around what's in season — not the full current menu, since that shifts every few months.
Petro's take
Templo is one of the best places in Alicante when it comes to working with meat. This isn't a place trying to be everything for everyone — it's a clear specialization in aged cuts, and you can tell real understanding of the product sits behind it, from selecting the breed and marbling to knowing exactly how a cut will behave over fire. The atmosphere is dark, warm, and restrained — exactly right for a place where the meat is the main character of the evening, not just a line on the menu.
